Temple of Holy Father Nikola, Koracica,
The monastery is in the village of Koracica, in the valley of Pavlovbicki stream that flows down from Kosmaj mountain. It is five and a half centuries old. It was built during the rule of despot Stefan Lazarevic. It was in ruins for 280 years. Renewed in the second half of 16th century. Later it was again destroyed after the exodus of the Serbs under Arsenije Carnojevic. Renewed again in 1967. The complex covers the church, monastic lodging on the south side and, probably,
a summer house of despot Stefan Lazarevic, north from the church. Above the monastery, by the road, is a stone sarcophagus and a fountain.
