Temple of Saint Archdeacon Stefan, Veliko selo, Teslina 1,
The exact date of its construction is unknown, but it is thought that it must have been in the 13th century, and that its benefactor was probably king Dragutin. It had been destroyed and rebuilt several times (last reconstruction in 1970). The monastery is dedicated to Saint archdeacon Stefan, one of the seven deacons of the famous old Christian church in Jerusalem, and who perished because of his faith in Jesus. This monastery is one of the rare metohs (properties) of Hilandar monastery. This means that in this monastery monks prepare themselves before they join the monastic brotherhood of Hilandar monastery at Mount Atos. It is located in the vicinity of Belgrade, in the village named Slanci-Big village. It is an active monastery.
